The spacious guest lounge is the perfect place to relax in comfort after a busy day exploring the surrounding Peaks and Dales. To increase your knowledge of the Peak District area, details of visitor attractions, maps, walks and nearby eating places are on display along with videos of local beauty spots and Derbyshire ancient customs. On chillier evenings, logs burning in the traditional fireplace offer a warm and cosy welcome to the end of your day. We fully embrace walkers, but we respectfully ask that guests do not wear walking boots in any part of the house. Walking gear must be removed before entering the house as we have fitted carpets and a high standard of decoration throughout. (Lorraine will happily dry wet walking gear in an appropriate part of the building) To enable us to maintain the current high standard of decor and soft furnishings for our future guests we do not permit dogs or allow smoking within any part of the accommodation, or the consumption of food within the bedrooms. Self Catering Accommodation During 2008, a luxurious, self contained, detached ground floor property which sits within the grounds of Barms Farm will be available on a celf catering basis. The two spacious double rooms will have king size beds and exceptional en-suite facilities comprising both large power shower cubicle and bath in each. |
