The farmhouse has ample, private, illuminated car parking and sits within its own landscaped grounds. Within the garden sits a large pond with adjacent pergola and seating area. The luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation gives freedom of access. A private guest entrance opens into the main hall from which the staircase leads to the guest wing of the house which can accommodate up to six adults within three double en-suite rooms. Traditional features are complimented by modern conveniences and furnishings. All decor is to a high standard throughout. The three tastefully furnished b&b double bedrooms have 'extremely comfortable', Seventh Heaven, romantic King size beds adorned with linen of uncompromising quality. A well stocked hospitality tray, wall mounted flatscreen 32 inch Sony LCD TV (with aprox. 30 freeview digital television and radio channels available Nov/Dec 2009), alarm clock/radio, hair dryer, portable fans, adjustable heating and double glazing are standard in all the rooms. The pristine en-suite bathrooms are equipped to the highest standard and are complimented by sparkling gold taps, thick Christy bathrobe, large soft The White Company bath towels and bath sheets plus a comprehensive range of Gilchrist and Soames toiletries. Two rooms have a bath and a seperate corner powershower cubicle, whilst the third room has bath only with telephone handset mixer unit for the washing of hair. |

The breakfast menu includes fresh fruit salad, granola, fruit compote, yoghurt and porridge and a wide choice of cereals, eggs, juices and hot beverages. |

The spacious guest lounge is the perfect place to relax in comfort after a busy day exploring the surrounding Peaks and Dales. To increase your knowledge of the Peak District area, details of visitor attractions, maps, walks and nearby eating places are on display along with videos of local beauty spots and Derbyshire ancient customs. On chillier evenings, logs burning in the traditional fireplace offer a warm and cosy welcome to the end of your day. Whist we fully embrace walkers, we respectfully ask that guests do not wear walking boots in any part of the house. Walking gear must be removed before entering the house as the accommodation has fitted carpets and a high standard of decoration throughout. (Lorraine will happily dry wet walking gear in an appropriate part of the building) To enable us to maintain the current high standard of decor and soft furnishings for our future guests we do not permit dogs or smoking within any part of the accommodation, or the consumption of food within the bedrooms. 5 star Self Catering Accommodation (Audreys at Barms Farm) - sleeps 4 adults max A luxurious, self contained, detached ground floor property which sits within the grounds of Barms Farm is available on a self catering basis. The two spacious bedrooms with ceiling paddle fans have king size beds draped in quality linen and exceptional en-suite facilities comprising large powershower cubicle, large soaker bath, vanity unit and large heated towel rail in both.
